Yup, will give a trip report as soon as I'm able. We only walked in the door an hour ago and are all totally exhausted. In case you were wondering, traveling with a 1yo and a 3yo on connecting flights is NOT a good idea
They were okay on the flights themselves, but the airport stopovers.....
Disney with kids is a completely different experience! We had a great time. It rained a LOT while we were there, but that didn't slow us down much. Jared, my youngest is most definitely my Disney baby. He loved everything about everything. There was a lot of "Wow!" and "Look!" which is pretty good considering he only has about 20 words in his vocabulary (one of which is now 'popcorn'
). He would see Mickey and make a beeline for him every time so he kept us on our toes. Ben on the other hand, didn't like any of the dark rides and rides where you couldn't see what was coming up - even Small World!!!! We did more than our fair share of Dumbo, Carrousel, Teacups and Autopia
We still dragged him on all the others and he seemed to enjoy them while he was on them and would even say that he liked them, but we'd ask him if he'd want to go on again and we'd get a swift negative!!! Talk about frustrating! He took a while to warm up to the characters too, but we got there in the end.
Staying at the Hilton was great, staying at the MiraCosta on our last night was BRILLIANT! If only we could have afforded that for our whole trip! Although, now I want to stay at the Disneyland Hotel too...
My morning sickness was tolerable. Much better than the last time I was at TDR. Still, we didn't get to try much food-wise because Ben would only eat chicken nuggets. By the end, I was buying something different to take to the nugget shop. I just couldn't face another burger!!!!
Okay, I've gotta go and get some rest. I've been up for 33 hours or so and I think I'm becoming delirious!
