Rediscovering Disney music

Postby churros » Thu Aug 25, 2011 5:56 pm

I was listening to "never smile at a crocodile" in the car and got a real buzz out of hearing 'tick tock' travel from the far left of my car across my dashboard and end up on my right. Try it!

Yep - that's me. I'm constantly listening to Disney music - and every park theme takes me right back to what ever ride/attraction/parade I was experiencing.

Soarin' is definitely one of my favourites, but there are so many others, Illuminations, Braviseamo, and Mythica are my favourite big event soundtracks. I also love fireworks music and have collected a bunch of them. Arrrggghhhh - admit it Keith, you like it all!!!! :D

Yep, thats me too. I also listen as much as possible. Currently I'm "blaring" (yes like really loud) music from the POTC movies in the Alfa. Park music is just awesome when you need to be transported for a little while.
2023 Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Lines - Disney Wish. Going to be awesome to be back!

I have lots of soundtracks but I don't have any park music... I tried to buy one I wanted at DL but they didn't have it at the time. Do you get all the park music on CD when you are actually at the parks or do you download it from somewhere?

The Tangled soundtrack get a regular run in my ipod as does the music from Princess and the Frog and the latest Alice movie.

I bought a park soundtrack in 2005 "The official album of the disneyland resort" as part of their 50th celebrations and some of the 'Classic Disney" CDs have park music. I have another album on my ipod which is called "Disney Parks" but I can't remember where I got that one.

I have a tonne of CDs from Tokyo. Every parade, show, fireworks, musical etc they ever produce comes with a CD - and I pretty much have all of them!

As for Disneyland - I get the official park albums every couple of years, but my favourite was the 6-cd set titles The Musical History of Disneyland that came out for the 50th anniversary in 2005.

It is a shame that Disneyland rarely comes out with parade and fireworks CDs while the show is still going - Remember, Dreams Come True being the notable exception (althought there are a few parade bootlegs doing the rounds.)

WDW also sell some park music CDs like Spectromagic, Illuminations etc.

I have bought a couple of Paris ones too - their 15th anniversary CD was great.

I agree Keith!

My 5yr old DS's favourite CD is the Tokyo DisneySea Halloween album. First song is 24mins long and he sings every word (yes - even the Japanese words he has no idea what they mean-lol). Actually it's my fav too!

Close second is the Boo to You song on the Event Music CD from WDW...some kids like Beyonce and Beiber...my kids do Disney!

That's so awesome!

Hey - I love last year's Tokyo Halloween album, it was epic (as was their parade).

Yes - Boo to You is also brilliant, one of my favourite parades I've ever witnessed.
