I picked up the CD today in JB Hifi.

I like digital downloads - but for Disney soundtracks, I have to get the CD to add to my collection.

Definitely not - this soundtrack is traditional Disney princess-type music and I really enjoy it. It has an instantly forgetable pop song at the end that really lets down the CD, but the actual movie music is brilliant. I was a bit worried when the opening track had a slightly pop feel (but I love that song) but the rest is all orchestral.

We heard that this film was completely unlike the Dreamworks-style marketing angle that Disney is pushing - and they were right. This is not a Dreamworks-style movie at all - its songs sound like a traditional Disney princess movie - for which I'm very thankful!
