And now it looks like that new hotel is on hold after Anaheim city council pulled the tax funding for it.  Seems strange they halted it now since construction has recently begun and they've closed the Rainforest Cafe, Earl of Sandwich, ESPN Zone etc which is on the site.

I’d like to know more on this. With new councilors on board there is quite a bit of animosity with Disney at the moment. More to come me thinks.
2023 Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Lines - Disney Wish. Going to be awesome to be back!

Yep - it is getting interesting.  Now Disney is asking the council to stop all tax incentives for hotels etc across the board - which will save the city lots of money and create an even playing field for everybody wishing to invest (but of course, Disney have the deepest pockets so it isn't really an even playing field!)

So yes, more to come :)
