Where do you buy your tickets?

Okay, this is pretty scummy Woman Creates Fake Mickey Mouse Business Cards, LinkedIn Page in Disney Ticket Scam: Prosecutors, and she was doing it to friends!

So where do you buy your tickets?

Online before you go? At the Park gate? From your hotel? From some random woman on the street?

For WDW I got them from the hotel I was staying at, or at least a voucher I exchanged at the Park gate. For every Park I've been to I just queued up when I got there.

I beleive you can buy  them in the supermarkets and such in california.  At least I have seen park hopper pass's at the local ralphs.

You can also buy them from https://disneyland.disney.go.com/tickets/  or https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/tickets/

For Disneyland, I always buy the ten-day park hopper through a travel agent before I leave, which you then exchange at the ticket counter.

For WDW, I buy them online via the WDW website (usually at the time I book my accommodation so I get a length of stay ticket).

Hong Kong I buy at the hotel lobby during check-in (usually an annual pass).

Tokyo in the hotel lobby at the ticket desk (usually a four-day park hopper).

I'm beginning to wonder what you can't buy in an American supermarket. Imagine being able to say "yeah, just dropped in to  get some  milk, bread and a Disneyland ticket".

We usually buy the 10 day passes before we go too, but next year we're only going to have three days so we'll buy them online somewhere.  I saw that ares has good prices so it might be from there.

Changing the subject just a little bit but still sort of on topic...

Who do you normally book your hotels through?

I ask because I have just been approved as an afilliate for booking.com. The idea was to use it for my travel blog ( Planet Trekker if you're interested in my current status) so I could get commission from hotels I recommend and review but I realised that if anyone on here was thinking of booking, for anything not just Disney, then I could throw out my afilliate link. Obviously it doesn't add any extra cost to the booking but would be good for me.

It's part of my new path in life. I'll be posting about it later.

I usually just book the hotels direct with the hotel itself...sorry!

I always buy my park tickets at the gate the first day I intend to go to the parks... except in Japan, where I buy them at the hotel for convenience sake .  Hotels I book through who ever is cheapest for the amenities I'm looking for... so bookings.com, expedia,  Wotif, TA, direct.  I check prices of all and then book.

On our last trip to Disneyland, we booked our Disneyland Hotel accommodation through Dreams Unlimited travel (I think it was!?) because I mentioned a podcast I listen to, we got a $70 Disney gift card on arrival. It was also handy for booking character meals and if hotel prices changed (on sale) they monitored it being applied to our reservation.

We bought our park tickets through flight centre so we could take advantage of the 10 day park hopper tickets (for Aust/NZ).
