Happy Birthday Disneyland! I was thinking of taking the day off and heading to the park but the place will be so busy I thought, nah.
I will be there on sunday anyway.
My boss and a few others are there today. Its a blockout date for employee's so they will be using their passes to get in.
I like Disney California adventure but I love Disneyland.

So wish I could be there - crowds or not...
I have a photog friend posting pics of the commemorative newspaper and button and the amazing retro park map on FB and so wish I was there.

It is funny how some things look familiar, and others not so. The shot down Main Street of the opening day parade looks almost the same as it does today!
