Excellent - you have to love last minute trips to DL! Will you be there in time for the D23 Expo? It looks like it will be a great expo this year.

IIm sitting on my balcony at Tropicana having a restand a beer. Its been a busy 2 days in the park. Crowds arent too bad. Not much has been over 40 mins.

I rode Radiator springs racers for the first time to day. I was was at rope drop and went straight to the ride into a 65 min wait haha. Crazy. My wife and I took single rider instead and were both on the ride in 5 mins. Very lucky. To see that ride in person is staggering what they did. amazing. The ride doesnt feel as fast as test track though.

Its good to see DCA finished. Last trip it was all walls. They have done a great job.

I cant believe how bad Tomorrowland is looking. Something needs to be done seriously as the next big thing. Cracks everywhere. Rusting Peoplemover. Irelevent entertainment. Inverventions is looking really run down. How many more years can they leave it like this? Its alot worse than my last trip 2 years ago.

Anyways im off to have a swin and head in for dinner and world of color.

Bye bye -/

Woohoo!! I love live updates.

Radiator Springs Racers is fantastic isn't it! Can't wait to go on that again some day.

I hope you enjoy World of Color tonight (have you seen it before) I love it.

I think Buena Vista Street in DCA is one of best themed areas in a Disney Park - it is so much better than the old DCA.

Keep the updates coming if you can!

Im again sitting here in my mid afteroon hotel break.

World Of Color was INCREDIBLE last night. Its the 2nd time ive seen it but it seemed even better than the first time. It was my wifes first time and she loved it. We ate at Ariels Grotto before and it was very good. We got in the dinning reserved and got a fantastic spot centre on the steps. Probably one of the best spots to watch WOC from. We headed to bed straight after.

Today we got up to take advantage of the extra morning magic and got to DL at 7am. The park was very slow to get busy today and we were very lucky. We walked straight on to Nemo with no line. then walk on to alice in wonderland. We did Peterpan, Snow white. Pinoccio, Mr Toad, small world and Roger Rabbit all by 9:10! The park was dead. When headed over to Haunted Mansion which was a walk on too. I was staring to wonder what was going on. No lines for anything, and then BAM!! everyone hit the parks. It got crazy busy very fast. We rode the Cannoes around the rivers of america and then had lunch at Blue bayu. Food was ok and service not very good.

We decided to take in the new summer show Mickeys Magical Map. I loved it. Some great songs and great effects. By this point we were both over it so we headed back to the hotel and im again having a rest and my now mandatory afternoon beer -/

Catch ya

Wow - can't believe how you got on the Fantasyland dark rides so easily. I haven't been on Alice in Wonderland or Peter Pan since 2006 - every other time I've been to Disneyland since then it has had a massive queue!

I'd like to see Mickey's Magical Map - we were there just before it opened :( It looks really good and Disneyland deserves a proper stage show again.

Have a great afternoon and enjoy that beer - I'm jealously sitting here at work thinking of what it must be like for you!

Sounds like you are having a wonderful time! Wow, you were so lucky to get so many FL rides done so quickly! I hope we have that kind of luck next month. I have a feeling I'll be spending a great deal of my trip waiting in the Peter Pan queue :?

I love the afternoon beer ritual :D Craig did something similar on our first trip to Tokyo Disneyland. A nice way to relax before heading back to the parks for the evening's entertainment.

Back in Australia now. Was a great trip though very tireing. I think we tryed to do too much. Great fun as always. Im overall very happy with the all the new DCA parts. ON the last morning I decied to ride Goofys Sky school and the ride broke down and we got stuck. It wasnt too bad as we got a fast pass to any ride in the park so we used it for toystory mania. (By the way Goofys sky school is probably the most boring wild mouse I have ever ridden)

Time to get back to the real world and work tomorrow :( Ill get some photos up in the next few days

Back in Australia now.
Welcome back! Wow - that really was a quick trip :)

Yep, I've never been a fan of that wild mouse ride. I hated it when it was Mulholland Madness. I haven't been on it since it was re-themed but it is still the same mouse, despite it being a bit more Disney-ish.

Looking forward to seeing your photos!
