Where to stay?

Postby churros » Fri Feb 08, 2013 11:37 am

I've stayed at Camelot and Hampton but not sure where to stay this time. Anyone stayed at Del Sol? 3 nights is $372 for 3 adults - a bargain and directly opposite gate!

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the hotels on the Harbor blvd strip, so I guess it comes down to rates. We always stay at Carousel more out of habit than anything else.

Most of the hotels offer free cancellation! Does this then cause a problem with people booking and then cancelling?

I tried to enquire about rates for Park Vue and there was no availability 10 months out. An email revealed they haven't released my dates yet - interesting! Perhaps reducing bookings that don't follow through?

We thought the Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn was great. We got rooms for $74 and they were clean, close and plenty big enough for two ladies and a lot of shopping

I can't believe the price of these rooms given their location. You would pay 4 times the price for equivalent hotels in top tourist spots in Australia

I stayed in the 'other' Best Western (across from the gate) as well on my last trip and it was fantastic, the pool is a bit more private than the other BW and the rooms were a little larger with a bigger fridge and a bigger bathroom for the same pricing.

Both BWesterns were good though, I wouldn't hesitate to stay in either again. FREE WIFI...need I say more :)
