2012 Disneyland theme

Hiya everyone,
random question...

does anyone know that this year's 'theme' at Disneyland is? eg: it was 'where dreams come true' last time I was there...

That's a good question. I can't recall seeing anything. Last year it was Celebrate You (or something like that) which will probably extend into some of this year. I know they are putting on an "extra day" in DL and WDW with the Feb 29th thing, where they are opening for 20 something hours straight.

More Disney Magic? Its something like that if that isn't the right wording. It is based around Disneyland and the MK being open for 24 hours straight on the leap day. Don't know how they are going to incorporate it into the rest of the year though...

I think the "Let the Memories Begin" campaign from last year is still on going.

It included the sequence where they photograph people in the park during the day and then display them on Its a Small World (or Cinderella Castle in WDW) during the light show at night.

It has just about run its course and the Let the Memories Begin marque that was in the esplanade was removed last week.

I have a feeling there may not be a specific theme over the next twelve months. Normally these themes are for "Disney Parks" - but with Cars Land opening in June-July, I'd imagine that the marketing focus will be on that specifically, rather than a company-wide theme that encompasses all the parks.
