Paradise Pier Renos

Came across these photos of the reno's in Paradise Pier and thought I'd share them for anyone else that hadn't seen them.

I'd have to see it in person, but I think I liked the other way around better, it was a little more classy or something.

What's everyone else think?

Whilst I liked the mickey head on screamin (my father always refers to screamin as Mickey's Head - as in he rode Mickey's Head 3 times), I do like what they've done to it now. I also do like the Mickey on the ferris wheel to. Apparently it fits in with the WOC show that will start later on. My feeling now is that Cal Screamin becomes an integrated part of the Paradise Pier area and the focal point with the name of the pier on it. Works better for me, and I can't wait to see it.

They are making some major changes to that part of DCA I guess. I am keen to see it in person as well, and I imagine being there will alter my perception.
Do you know what is going into where they had the mission tortilla factory and all that area there ( can't remember the name off hand) and more importantly, are they moving/removing the margarita stand?

Was that becoming a different land or just big change to the food area?

Does anyone know when the CALIFORNIA letters are to disappear?

I know we've probably discussed this before but I couldn't find it.
