Nothing flash - beds, shower, loo, bath, microwave etc. Free breakfast was crap except the oranges, but so close to other places to eat that it doesn't matter

Okay - so who of you wants to read my itinerary? None of you? Well tough, because I'm going to post it anyway!

Sunday August 30 - Fly to New York
Tuesday September 1 - Mary Poppins on Broadway (second row tickets!)
Thursday September 3 - The Little Mermaid on Broadway (also second row tickets!)
Saturday September 5 - Fly to Los Angeles
September 10-13 - D23 Expo
September 15 - Leave LA for Sydney
September 17 - Home

Yes, I'll be coming to the meeting on Saturday August 29 - but Della won't, she needs to pack as she is at a conference on the Thursday-Friday.

In New York, we are staying at The Salisbury on West 57th, and in Anaheim we are staying at The Carousel (for no reason other than we try a different hotel on every visit!)

Oh yeah, and there are 161 more sleeps to go :D (I'll need a counter...)

Sheesh... had to happen .... the sleeps countdown :D ... I think I might invent some kind of countdown worthy of ticker just for the sake of having a ticker.

And oh my god... I am so jealous.... -/ maybe if I get yet another job to add to my collection, I can go to DL this year too....

Keith....is it the Carousel Inn and Suites? I have stayed there 2 times and love it...it is simple but clean and great location...breakfast is pretty crap but you can get toast yoghurt and muffins....

i am so jealous...NEW YORK and 2 broadway musicals!!! what a dream vacation. there is also the massive disney store in NY aswell...i have a friend who lives in NY so i will ask her any other disney related places there. I know there is an alice in wonderland park, garden thing....

how exciting!
I have no holidays planned to disney for a while....how depressing...i will just have to live through all your adventures!

Hey Jess time to change your signature at the bottom of your posts. It makes me sad every time I see it. :( When you are planning a trip nothing else matters and it feels like it will never come and then woosh it is all over and you are watching someone else plan theirs and in my case I have no idea when I will be planning again!

Yep - that's the one! But the thing I'm most looking forward to is the Broadway musicals! I can't wait to see The Little Mermaid!

Any other Disney stuff you can find out about in NY will be greatly appreciated!

NUTS!

We got an email today from Disney on Broadway to tell us that The Little Mermaid is ending its run the week before we get there and they are giving us a full refund on the tickets we bought :(

Sad Face

I really wanted to see this show much more than Mary Poppins - but now I'll have to miss out. Oh well, I guess it frees up an evening in New York - I'm sure there is other stuff we can do!

Oh, and if anyone is interested - we are down to 60 sleeps :)
