Tower of Terror

Postby sharper_fin » Sat Aug 19, 2006 5:06 pm

Hi all

My latest Disney history column has just been posted at www,mickeynews.com

http://www.mickeynews.com/Columns/Displ ... Q_id_E_733

This one's about the history of the two current Twilight Zone Towers of Terror, their history and how they may have built very differently.

Hope you enjoy it.

Nice article Shaun.

I remember hearing about the Geyser Mountainand Discovery mountain, but never knew about the mad director sawing through the cables !

Sorry mate, no idea. Perhaps some of the recent trip returnees can shed some light on it?

If you liked that article, the follow up - along with all the others I've written for Mickeynews over the years - can be found here.

My husband claims he knows how it works, but I don't want to know - I prefer to believe in the magic :)

It's an awesome effect though. Everybody in the room literally gasped when we saw it. Excellent!
