I know we don't have a general travel section, so I put this here because, well I don't know why.
No doubt most, if not all of you who are keen eyed travel bargain hunters would have seen the QANTAS special at the moment which closes at midnight tonight. $3179 for 2 people to LA is an absolute bargain (obviously double that for 4 $6357).
BUT!
As good as that is, check out V Australia if you plan to book, because they've seen QANTAS' discount and raised it further (the discount that is). 4 people to LA currently for $5572, that's about what 2 people would pay. These fares are fantastic! -/

The Qantas one has been extended to Wednesday as well
I guess with the poor dollar - people have stopped booking US tickets and Qantas needs to fill those empty seats.
