Ok, the Wine Country Trattoria sounds like the go.

Despite the name would I be right in assuming that there is no wine on the menu as it's in the Park?

No you wouldn't Greg, they have an extensive wine selection.  In fact, there are quite a few bars around DCA that you can grab a beer, especially when we were there it was Food and Wine time.
