Life would be good if we didn't have to work... :)
Think of it as a means to a magical end! :D

Lisa being a fairly new comer I didn't know you won your trip to TDL! How did you win it and what did the prize include?

We'll be in DL from 12 - 15/10 - is this after you will be there?

25 words or less in the Mulan Video that I bought from Kmart. Long story short... painted a chinese watercolour painting on some floaty fabric then painted the 25 words over the painting, reading downwards and then attached it to chopsticks that I had drilled holes into to make it into a huge working Chinese fan. Sent if off and the rest is history. 6 days/7nights. 4 day pass to TDL, accom at Hilton( no Disney hotel then), Qantas flights for a family of 4, and a massive toy Mickey Mouse that is only marginally shorter than me. Got my mug in the local paper as well.. :)

I think this is a good time of year to go anyway. Still warm, coming into Autumn and the summer crowds should have died down by then. Also when you head into the hills and whatever else you're doing, the climate and conditions should be ideal as well.

By the way, what was this topic again ...

Lisa, is your scrappin tour organised or just you going for it? I highly recommend Scrappin in the Hills - maybe a 20 minute cab drive from the resort.

Nope, I haven't finalised any scrapping plans yet, other than set aside time to shop for and do some scrapping while I'm there. I was thinking the last Saturday I'm in Anaheim depending on how busy the first Saturday is.
I took a look at their website and it looks like a great spot to start.

I've spent most of my spare time researching where I'm going to stay. Next step.. .see if I can get in where and when I want. Its cheaper on the net than through my agent so I'll just book it myself I think.

Sorry BrisMarc... we really hijacked your thread didn't we? maybe my trip plans might help though seeing as we have the same destination...
Feel free to jump straight back in and steer it back on track if you want. :)

Keep up Anthony, it is about:

Booking a DL holiday and...
Mousesavers
Travel agents
Internet
Park Hoppers
Walt Disney Travel Co.
On-site hotels
Off-site hotels
Exchange rates
Renovations
DVC units
Guided tours
Buying T-shirts
Excel
Planning
Maths phobias
Anthony's indepth holiday planning
Scrapbooking
Kuala Lumpur
Tokyo
Holiday countdown counters
Packing trials
Hair serum
Photoshop
The dreaded "does this make me look fat?" question
Lisa's TDL prize
NASCAR Racing
and Street riots.

In that order I think. Easy to keep track of (reminds me of the Never Ending Story thread!)

:D
