Today during an investor relations meeting at Goldman Sachs, Bob Iger officially stated they would be building Carland (Cars Land?) at DCA. Nothing more than that - he was just responding to a question from investors.

The full transcript of the briefing should be available in the next 24 hours - if there is anything else of interest on it, I'll post it here.

I'm really looking forward to next month (end of Disney's FY and when budgets are released to the separate business units) as we are likely to have a proper press briefing and new concept art.



It'll be a good year of announcements for the Disneyland Resort!

Is that where they are planning to build a test track type ride but with the characters from cars? I remember seeing a concept sketch from last years annual report as a blue sky idea. That would be pretty cool! Although I'm not a huge fan of the movie any new ride is fine by me! As long as it's well themed and fun!

WOW is all i can say, I am amazed they used full kitted out cars that look like characters at such an early stage. This ride will be amazing

Don't they look great. It's clear Lasseter has had some influence here with a cool looking car to be used. Carsland is really starting to build some excitement. I wonder what the DCA knockers will be saying now?
