Hi Vicki - have I got a tale about Tomarts.

I ordered the Tomart pin catalog (5th edition) directly from them a few years ago, along with four of their regular Disneyana magazines.

They debited my credit card, but I never got the goods. I emailed them direct and never got a reply. I then used the "Contact Us" tab on their website - and never got a reply. The order status on my account page has always remained at "Pending" or something like that and to this day, nothing has ever happened.

I then ordered the Tomart Pin Catalog via Amazon and got it within a week from them.

I've never understood what happened as it is the only time I've ever had any Internet purchase issues. It was strange that there was zero communication from them despite numerous attempts.

So when the 6th edition comes out, I'll go straight to Amazon.

(And the catalog is awesome - can't do without it!)

Well, i must say i've never had a problem but when i have troubles i go straight to the phone. It just isn't that expensive these days to phone places like that. I phoned the USA before our trip in November, i rang and checked most of our bookings direct and spent a total of 70c per call...worth it i think.

I never thought about ringing them (although I usually do ring the US for stuff when I'm booking holidays etc). I got my money back through a "goods not received" chargeback via my bank.
