So, i finally got around to starting the build last night.  We've decided not to move house right now, so i thought i'd make the most of the long weekend.

Build part 1 - The final stage is step 60 of around 750 - Took just over an hour to get to this point.

Wall-E is around 17cm tall, and the Sand Crawler is around 25cm x 50xm

Build part 2 - Finished up to bag 5 of 14.  I think it's around step 300 in the book.  This took just over 3 hours.

I love all the little hidden details in this castle.  I'm hoping to get it for Christmas... :)

Oh Keith, i hope you do get it for Christmas.  It was definitely the most entertaining lego build i've done.
I'd seen lots of pictures online, but it was always a surprise to find out (or work out) which special little items were going to be built in each bag.

Anyway, after probably almost 14 hours - average of around 1 hour per bag, it's finally done.  I have no idea where i'm going to put it because i think it's a bit too high for the top of the bookshelf where i had planned to keep it, and it's also super heavy.  For now, it will just live on the dining table.
