Hallmark Keepsakes

We noticed that this years Hallmark Christmas Keepsakes have arrived in Target.

Each year, Hallmark produce the keepsake series and usually have a large number of quality Disney designs. This year is no different with some great ornaments including Tinkerbell with a butterfly, Cinderella topping a Christmas tree with a star, Mickey and Minnie shopping (very funny - Mickey is sweating as Minnie points out a diamond in a shop window!), Tigger with a Christmas present, Minnie posting a letter to Santa, a Piglet and Pooh figure - plus a few more that I cannot remember.

Check them out when you are next in Target - they disappear quickly so buy them when you can!

I love those.

Thanks Keith for the heads up. :)

I will probably only get one this year because of the quantity of C'mas deco's I bought on my trip. The Americans LOVE christmas deco's, huh?.
They were EVERYWHERE....

I've bought one of these for each of my kids and myself since the year they were born as they are dated. Unfortunately we do not get the full range in Australia but I have bought some great keepsakes from the US, ones that light up, move, play music and even produced the smell of baking cookies. It helps to have a father who is an electrician to build me converters.

Yeah, I bought a set of Christmas lights for my son in the US only because I knew someone here who could organise a converter. Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered.

I do the 'deco every year' for my kids as well. I think it'll be a real wrench when I have to give them up when they leave home. It's going to feel weird not having them on the tree.

What did you think of the Dept 54 store in Downtown Disney?

Is that 2 down from the Dept 56 store? I'm a big Dept 56 fan! I bought back a house and other bits and pieces last time and intend bringing back another house. I have also bought stuff from ebay. Similar to the Lemax stuff you can get here now but Dept 56 but they are like chalk and cheese in quality. Also Dept 56 does Disney!

Truth be told, I wasn't game to go in there, because I was worried I'd want to literally bring home a house-worth of stuff....

I thought it better to steer clear of that particular temptation.

As it was, I had to pay for a massive extra bag to get home. Had I gone into that shop, it'd have been much much worse.

hehe...

can't see Hallmark doing a 'Donald chucking a wobbly' deco... can you? ( although that'd be wicked) they're generally more cutsie than that.

'Duck Deco's' were thin on the ground even in DL. I did find one though. :)

The Hallmark Keepsakes are out. I bought 3: mickeys sorcerers hat that plays fantasia, a carousel that plays mickeys mouse club and the 2nd in the series of Mickey's Christmas Carol. I stopped myself from buying Edward and Bella because they clearly have been made from a police identikit and not from someone who had actually seen them.

Oh no - there goes my weekend. Every year, Della always wants the one that is hard to find so we have to travel from Target to Target to track it down :D

I always find hurstville is better than Miranda probably due to local demographics. I usually find myself on eBay for the ones that don't make it to Australia

I was too slow last year, so I've already got one for this year. I got the Mickey and Pluto one "Knot a problem". Jared picked it out. I think I'm going to buy a second one to make up for last year. Better do it soon though, I don't want to miss out again!
