The Art of Cars

Postby KeithS » Wed Jun 28, 2006 7:48 pm

Yay - I picked this up at Books Kinokuniya in the City today. I love getting The Art Of... books, they provide a great insight into the creative process of building an animated movie - and this Cars book is awesome.

I took it back to the office and started reading it - then I realised I couldn't put it down and had to conciously force myself to stick it in my bag - otherwise I'd never get any work done!

When I bought it, the girl at the counter wanted to keep it - she said she'd been waiting for them to come in (another Disney fan...) - and she wasn't happy when I told her it was the last one on the shelf :)

So look around, I got it for $55.00.

I'm jealous! I have all the Disney Art of books but haven't started a Pixar collection yet. Now that we're one happy family, I have some back ordering to do! From what I've seen, the last 4 Pixar Art of Books look fantastic. Given the obsessive, compulsive in me, I love that they're all the same size :-)
