The third episode is up now.  I haven't watched it yet, but the first two were fantastic.  It is great to see a new documentary on Imagineering - and this one is top quality.

One of the things that has impressed me with the 2 I have seen so far is that it is not all sugar coated. The second episode didn't just gloss over the issues they were having at the time.

Yes - I thought that too.  It is like for once they've acknowledge it was all roses - it was a hard time after both Walt and Roy passed.

I watched episode 3 last night and this series continues to excel. It followed the Michael Eisner, Frank Wells era and it was great to have Michael Eisner appear and be upfront about the good and the bad from those early days of his tenure.  The episode ends with Frank Well's death and the next one promises to be even more raw as they highlight those years of austerity at Imagineering where they were told that Disney wouldn't produce any more 'theme' parks - theming was out (as evidenced by DCA) - so I can't wait to watch that episode.  I love how the show is critical of their mistakes.

The only real issue I have with these is that they have stirred up a real need to visit a Disney Park. :-)

Hong Kong would be the easiest and cheapest for me but I'm still hesitant to visit there at the moment so a trip to Tokyo might be an impulse buy after I watch the last episode.

Watched Ep4 last night.  I'm with you Greg, the more I watch these, the itchier my feet (and wallet) are getting.  We're back in DL next year, but they showed [SPOILER -->] a segment on Animal Kingdom in Ep4 and something that I always knew was incredible is even more incredible.  There were some interesting revelations about Paris 2nd gate, Anaheim 2nd gate and HK as well as DisneySea.

I've now finished the series (assuming it's now complete) and I have thoroughly enjoyed it.  One of the highlights for me was learning about the plans for Carland.  I won't post spoilers but the revelation about the concept for that was fascinating.

I finished it last night too - that was a terrific series.

I thought it was great how they even talked about the public backlash to some of their decisions - such as putting in the Disney characters into Small World and the change from Tower of Terror to Guardians of the Galaxy.

The future bit was interesting too - that flying mannequin that could change poses mid-flight was pretty amazing...I'm guessing it was for some potential Spiderman stunt show - I can imagine it flying over our heads in the Avengers Campus at DCA when it is finished as part of a show.

Disney+ has been a big hit at our place over the last month - but they'll need to keep the new content coming!

I still have the last episode to watch but I'm looking forward to it. I also have the "One Day at Disney" documentary to watch.

One Day at Disney was okay. I saw the 1 hour version but feel like it would probably be more interesting to watch the shorter versions that just concentrate on one person at a time.

The Imagineering Story last episode was good and it would be interesting if they revisited the series with a new episode every few years. Fully tracking a new attraction from concept to opening would be fascinating.

Did anyone else find the long, dangling, ear stretching ear ring really distracting when you were trying to concentrate on what he was saying?

I'm very keen to see both the Imagineering Story and One Day at Disney.  At this stage I haven't activated my 7 day trial as I haven't had time (crazy busy few months).  I'm sure it will stay up for sometime so maybe that's a March goal!  Great to hear these are well done so will be worth it once I get to them.

The Imagineering Story was great. I'm with Greg in preferring the One Day shorts to the one hour special; there are some interesting roles to feature in those shorts.

As a follow on...I found this.

The Imagineering Story: 3 Disney Debacles the Series Left Out

The first one is freaky, I'd never heard of it.
