yep, our collection of DVD's has been waiting for this one too... although, probably going to buy bluray though.

Haven't bothered to see Frankenweenie, it just doesn't appeal, doubt I'll buy it though - might hire it just to say I've seen it.

They expect a write-down of at least $160 million on the movie, so I guess they want to try and minimise the damage with a home video release as soon as possible :)

September 11
Sword in the Stone
Robin Hood
Oliver and Company

(Some interesting Bluray additions there on 11 Sept in addition to the previously announced The Little Mermaid. I didn't expect to see these three come to the high-def format - so there you go, a good chance to fill gaps in your collection. They are going to be cheap too, around the $22 mark!)

October 2
The Jungle Book

5 March 2014
Thor: The Dark World
Treasure Planet

There is still no sign of Disney's Planes which is unusual. The bluray was classified back in September for a Christmas release, but it never happened. Now it isn't on the release schedule at the moment. Maybe they'll hold it back until the sequel hits the cinema later in the year.
