Ok... so, I couldn't wait.... I went to see Enchanted tonight.

I take back every little mean thing I ever said about this movie... its Gorgeous with a capital G!

-/ -/ -/ -/

Its just so sweet and cute and quirky that you just can't help loving it.

There are so many Disney princess/Disney Classics nods peppered throughout the movie its a joy to watch.

I want her dresses,
l want her Hair stylist
And I want to be able to sing in the street and have everyone sing along rather than want to have me committed. :D

Can you tell I liked it a lot?

The music is magical and I am going to find that soundtrack ASAP - best songs.... "So Close" and "Thats how you know".

Keith you are so going to love this.....

Yay! I am glad you enjoyed it - if a princess critic like you enjoyed it, I'm sure it will be great :)

Hmmm...7:05pm tomorrow night can't come quick enough!

I've seen the soundtrack for sale in JB HiFi everywhere. I wasn't allowed to buy it as Della ordered it for me from Amazon for Christmas - but unfortunately it hasn't arrived yet :(

Oooh...ahhh...that was a nice film :D

I think I'm in love (not with McDreamy either...) - Amy Adams was awesome!

We spent the whole car trip home trying to uncover all the other princess movie references! I think I'll need to see it again to catch some more I missed.

I'd like to discuss, but will wait until all the regulars here have seen it :)

We did a Enchanted / National Treasures movie marathon today (Dumaresq St cinemas, cheap and cheerful). All 4 of us loved Enchanted, and me as much as the ladies of the house. This will truly become a classic and Giselle must be as important as Snow White, Cinderella and the other princesses for sure (although technically speaking, she isn't a princess, but who's going to get pedantic)!
2023 Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Lines - Disney Wish. Going to be awesome to be back!

Wow.... Giselle has got everyone in a flap huh?

as a little illustration, one of my closest friends has the best time ribbing me about my Disney thing. She never lets an opportunity go by to bring up my supposed 'peter pan complex'.... she went to see Enchanted because there was 'nothing else on' before me.
Even SHE loved it (grudgingly ). And let me tell you... that's saying something.
(although technically speaking, she isn't a princess, but who's going to get pedantic)
Of course..... finally this is making sense.... Phew... for a minute there I thought I might be in danger of being converted.

Quite right! In fact,

(SPOILER AHEAD)

...

...

...

Nancy becomes the princess

(End of Spoiler!)

But Giselle will always be a Princess in my mind (and I bet in Disney's too!!)

Hey Anthony, are you a new Princess convert, or were you always the first in your family to line up in Disneyland for a photo (like me!)

And Gerard if you are listening/reading - I had a look in JB Hifi in the City for the Enchanted soundtrack for you - no luck though, they had sold out :) (I'm smiling because they had a few - which means people are seeing the movie, then going to the shops and buying - that's a good sign!)

I did see it in Miranda the other week, but I can't confirm it is still there, maybe give a few stores a call if you can't find it...

Oh Brother.....

Bang Bang Bang
( sound of the gavel hitting the podium)

" Now the first official 'Giselle addicts support group' will come to order"
First order of business.... how to resist the charms of 'cute, quirky and a massive dose of naivety'
( - as if it were possible.... :))

Keith: Hi, my name is Keith...
and I'm ... I'm .... I'm ... a Princess addict....

hehehe..... -/ -/

maybe if Sandie and I started singing a 'happy scrapping song' you boys could bring yourselves to attempt that which you find so abhorrent - the scrapping tools await.

PS: having said all that... I'm off to see Enchanted again this afternoon.... :)

Ha! No more to be said - I'm sure if Anthony, myself and Lisa were in Disneyland together, Lisa would barge right past the two of us to get her photo with Giselle first!

I will try over the weekend, if not you may have to find it for me.

Its better the second time, you really notice the Disney Princess references (unfortunately you may be the only one who does)

Keith... I'm cut to the quick.... (:) )

Do I strike you as the barging type?
I don't have a single photo of me with a princess and honestly, I don't think I'm about to start now. Anyway, I think the melee that would ensue between you and Anthony getting to be first to cosy up with Giselle, would be fun to stand back and watch. :D Now if it were Mickey or a Duck...

That was a problem the first time.... my daughter and I were constantly turning to each other and would whisper "snow white" (insert relevant Disney movie) in a knowing voice at the same time(and we were pretty much the only ones) but I think I was the only one that said (perhaps a little too loudly ) Lady and the Tramp.
