So Keith, your avatar made me wonder who the heck Giselle was so I went looking for some info about this movie and have only been able to find the same couple of paragraphs everywhere. I guess its a little early for a trailer right?

I'm actually going to bring some footage of this film (live action and animation) to the next meeting in February :) - but you are right, no trailer as yet...

Not a real fan of the live action and animation mix but I'll reserve judgement until I hear more about it.


I'd love to see the footage but am not sure I'll make it to the Feb meeting. :(

The news out of the US today suggests the Julie Andrews will be the narrator of this movie - she will be recording in June - how cool is that? This film is getting more interesting all the time - I can't wait for a trailer.

Now don't get me wrong... I like Julie Andrews as much as the next person, but I am wondering if all her matriachal princess type roles are starting to blur together?

I guess she is everyone's first choice, being that she exudes class but there seems to be less and less points of difference in the characters she plays.

Apart from that nitpicking, I'm waiting for the trailer before I decide if I'm going to like this one or not.
What I've seen so far seems interesting, time will tell if they make all the elements work or not. Switching backwards and forwards from live action to cartoon bores me pretty quickly, but I understand that its meant to be cartoon at start and end and live action in the middle... is that right?

Lets hope it lives up to expectations.

Bring on Maddy I say....
I saw some early concept art for the Frog Princess today - and the Logo has been released also. Looks good... very Once Upon A Time-ish. I might even concede defeat about the princess thing if Maddy turns out ok. :) maybe.....

Not quite raptures - not yet :)

I guess I'm just interested in seeing the company go back to doing quality films with stories - I'm not yet convinced they will pull this one off, but it has the hallmarks of classic Disney: Princesses, nasty bad guys (or girls), characters singing. I'm not sure about the live-action/animated mix yet, but I do think it is a step in the right direction of reintroducing films that appeal to a wider family audience.

The Frog Princess looks good - but seems so far away!

I like the looks of this movie. Looks like they will have mixed the animation/live action well with the quirky comedic story to go with it. I'm looking forward to this one.

This film has now opened in the US and is getting amazing reviews...I think Disney are going to have a big hit on their hands! Can't wait to see the box office receipts when they are published on Monday.

I saw Enchanted today (at AMC Downtown Disney, Disneyland Resort) Loved it. but I think it went too fast.
Lots of great Disney Princess refrences

PS. the Parks look great for the holidays and I recommend the DCA Segway Tour.
