Frozen 2

Just a heads up that Disney Australia have brought forward the release date of Frozen 2.

Initially it was due for release on Boxing Day like they normally do for their animated films, but they've now brought it forward to 28 November - the same weekend as the US!

It is a good idea as it moves it away from the release of Star Wars too - looks like a few big months coming up at the cinemas!

That's a massive jump in time. Is there any school holiday stuff on at that time to make it worthwhile for them? Or do they figure that in the internet age no one is going to be able to avoid spoilers and the ability to see it before it's rel;eased anyway?

I think it is the latter - to avoid spoilers in the Internet age

Normally they delay Disney animated releases to the school holidays (I think Disney animated movies are about the only things that are delayed releases these days) but that looks like it will change with Frozen.

The soundtrack for Frozen 2 is now available on iTunes - there are two versions, the standard version, plus a deluxe version which has a lot more on it, so I recommend the deluxe - it includes outtake songs like the original film's deluxe soundtrack.
