It seems Disney are pushing for a big "classic" animation with the songs and everything. I have to say its better than the first comedy trailer we saw. I am a bit worried about all the snow. It all seemed so "white" and un interesting, But you can never tell from a trailer. Its good to see Disney Studios look be getting away from the Pixar/Dreamworks style "comedy kids movie" with this one and having a crack at a bit more of a Disney Classic story telling movie.

I'm really looking forward to this one... There's a lot that really appeals to me in the trailers so am hoping it follows on in the full version.

Saw Frozen tonight and it was frozen outside. Will refrain from comment until some of you have seen it.

Disney have now released a musical sequence from Frozen which I've attached here. The song is terrific. Do yourself a favour and check out this clip (unless you want to save it all until your first viewing in the cinema). Sung by Idina Menzel who I think is brilliant - she is a standout on the Wicked soundtrack.

Saw Frozen yesterday and I'm calling it... I think this will be one of Disney's classics. Without giving anything away, the music is some of the best I've heard for years and the animation is just astounding. Definitely a keeper.

Go see it ASAP and take tissues. -/

Big call Lisa! I am dying to see it but I'll have to wait to New Year's Eve before I get to see it. Can't wait!

yep, a big call definitely, but I had that same feeling as when I saw B & B on leaving the cinema, and its a LOOOOOONG time since I went searching for the soundtrack the day after seeing the movie. ( still to track it down but I'm thinking if I can't find it here , I'll get it at the park in Feb).

I remember there being some discussion about the movie being too 'white', but this was so not an issue... the way the ice was animated simply set the bar at a new higher level and was just flawless.

I rarely go back to the cinema to see something again, but this is a possibility.

Della got me the two-disc version of the soundtrack for Christmas from Amazon. I have seen the single disc version in JB Hifi, but if you can wait to February, I would do that and buy the two-disc version in the US.

The second disc contains a lot of sounds that were cut from the final movie in the development phase and they are great too! They even contain a commentary as to why they didn't make the movie. I know that all Disney movies have lots of songs cut from them, but this is the first time they've released those cut songs at the same time they release the movie. I hope this is a trend that will continue! I know they recorded a whole bunch of songs for Tangled that never got released - I'd love to see them released one day!

In Frozen's fifth weekend of release in the US, it managed to pull in an AMAZING $29 million dollars! To give that some perspective, that is the third highest fifth weekend earning for a movie of all time - only beaten by Avatar and Titanic!!!

The movie has been getting strong word-of-mouth, so more and more people have been going to the cinema to see it and there are a lot of repeated viewings as well - nice one Anna and Elsa!

Oh boy - that was good!

Della and I absolutely loved Frozen, it should definitely be up there in the classics. Loved the story, the characters, the music and the amazing animation - well done to all involved! And we finally get an answer to that age-old question, "What does a princess look like when she wakes up in the morning?" LOL.

Now when is that Bluray coming out??

Did everyone get to see the "Get a Horse" short beforehand? I thought that was clever too.
