Events cinema

Postby churros » Sun Apr 29, 2012 9:07 am

Keith told us about the Disney class movies being shown at Events Cinemas at the club meeting last night. Here is the link: http://www.eventcinemas.com.au/disney-a ... y-classics

Anyone interested in going in company?

I plan on taking Jared, but don't know when. You wouldn't want to come with us though, I don't know how he will go. He's only ever been to the movies once before.

I think we are unlikely to find a child-free cinema  parents will insist on taking their kids to see Disney

Ridiculous isn't it? Children in a Disney movie - what will selfish parents think of next?

I saw 'Lady and the tramp' today. Glenda and I were the only adults without a child. It clearly has been a very long time since I've seen this movie as I didn't remember half of it and it was so short. It really does not have enough to engage today's kids.

Crosses Lady and the Tramp off the list of movies to watch.

I ended up taking both bigger boys, which was a mistake. 20 minutes in and Ben was complaining that he was bored and asking to go. Jared loved most of it, but got a little scared at one part, although I can't remember whether it was the pound or the rat that upset him. I'd like to take him to Aristocats, but definitely won't be taking Ben again. Jared is only 3, Ben is 5, but I knew that Jared - being my Disney baby - would enjoy it more.

BTW, the shorter length is just perfect for wee ones :)
