Brave

Postby KeithS » Thu Jun 23, 2011 7:17 pm

Here is the first movie poster for next year's Pixar movie: Brave

It is Pixar's first attempt at a Princess movie and if this poster is anything to go by, it will look spectacular! And a very different style from previous Pixar releases.

The first teaser trailer is meant to be attached to Cars 2 (but not sure whether we'll see it here in Australia). I'm sure it'll be online soon, so I'll post it in the Trailers forum.

The poster looks amazing... I think their dedication to researching their topics to throughly is what gives their movies such wide appeal.
Really looking forward to this one...

June 22 next year in the US - I would think a similar date for us.

There's a brand new teaser trailer out for 'Brave', just released today:

Doesn't show much, but I guess that's why they call it a teaser.

I just went to the Sydney Premiere at event in George St.
Billy Connolly introduced the movie ( but he had to restrain himself due to the amount of kids there)
Jay Lapalia sat in the seat behind me (mufasa in the Australian Production of the Lion King) and we walked the green grass carpet instead of red.

I won't post any spoilers, I will just say that I loved it and it reminded me of Brother Bear ( you will see why)

The short, La Luna was cute.

We went to an advance screening on Sunday. It was a great movie with lots of fun moments and amazing animation that Pizar is renowned for. Stay all the way through the credits for an additional part of the movie at the very end.

no spoilers follow -

Millie and I went to see Brave tonight...just the most amazing movie. LOVED it. A worthy addition to the Pixar stables. Looking forward to discussing it when more have seen it.

Thanks for the heads up to stay for the end of the credits Wayne. We were the only ones left in the cinema as usual.

Saw Brave yesterday. Went not not expecting alot and was wowed. Really great film and I am sure will be a hit with the kids. I really wish the witch had played a bigger role in the movie and her character was just classic. The whole scene had a Disney magic feel. (I know its Pixar). There has been some pretty average reviews floating around as well which suprises me. I think I might have to go back again on monday which I havent done for a film in quite some time.

Della and I finally saw Brave on the weekend too and really enjoyed it.

I thought the animation was amazing (especially her hair!). It was a good story too but easy to draw a line to Brother Bear.

The after credit moment was great - and we were also the only two left in the cinema to see it :)

Can't wait until Pixar brings out Monsters University next year - that looks so funny :)

We saw it last night. I spent the first third of the movie laughing considerably, particularly the scene when the clans came together. Yes there is a similar theme to brother bear but I don't think it detracts fom the movie or story at all. Animation was spectacular, these guys are getting better. I read they had to rewrite software completely for her hair. We were also only ones left in cinema at the end too.
2023 Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Lines - Disney Wish. Going to be awesome to be back!
