Millie and I went to see this movie today, and with the kinds of lukewarm reviews its been getting, I wasn't expecting to walk out of there all that excited but without any spoilers, it was much better than I anticipated.

The CG is really over-the-top but so in keeping with the tale you couldn't help but be swept up into the story. Nicolas Cage was his usual weird and edgy self and I loved the movie from start to finish.

If you are half hearted about seeing this, I can only say, you might just be pleasantly surprised. And from a teenagers point of view... Millie LOVED it!!!

For the car enthusiast on here... all I can say is there's a few scenes that you are going to LOVE...

While the soundtrack is very Pirates-esque, there is one pivotal song "secrets" by One Republic that we thought was so good, we went home and downloaded it straight away...

Anyone else seen it yet?

I saw this film last night and it grabbed me from the very first minute. I really enjoyed it and the packed audience who were in the cinema didn't make a sound the whole film - we were all into it.

our local cinema is only a small one by comparison to the mega complexes, so turnaround time is of the essence, particularly in school holidays, and we are literally kicked out before the credits finish after EVERY movie... now I have to wait for the DVD to see what I missed and I distinctly remember muttering about 'there better not be something I'm missing at the end of the credits' as I walked past the usher .... grrrr...
