Haunted Mansion take 2

New Disney live-action “Haunted Mansion” movie to be directed by Guillermo del Toro and will feature the Hatbox Ghost.

hopefully a movie worthy of the attraction

I read this today - very exciting, and much more promising than the first effort. And no Eddie Murphy :)

At the risk of public humiliation of movie choices (again :lol: ), I didn't mind the original Haunted Mansion. It was a fun movie that touched nicely on the components of the attraction. So if the next attempt is going to be better, that can only be a good thing.

Ok, I agree with ajp... I LIKED the movie but the ride's still not one of my must do's...

Oh no... there's a HM in HKDL isn't there... :shock:

I also liked the movie. A classic it isnt but was good fun and I see kids loving it.

Cant wait for this new one.

Too right! I would have loved to have taken you on it Lisa! Just a shame that HKDL is the only park without the Haunted Mansion!

Although,admittedly I think the whole experience would be less traumatic if I got to ride it with my caring DUD friends. And clearly I need to study that HKDL map a little more if I don't even know what rides are there. :roll:
