Disney have just purchased the rights to a new version of Cinderella which they intend to film as a live action movie.
Seems that Disney are looking to their past for film ideas for the future. Alice in Wonderland, 20,000 Leagues under the Sea, the new Maleficent movie based on Sleeping Beauty, and now Cinderella.
I wonder if they'll change the title so they don't scare off the male viewers like they did with Rapunzel...

I cant imagine how this will pan out. I hope they don't use a Disney channel star to play the role. I can see them using someone like Debby Ryan from The Suite Life on Deck to fill the role
