It was pretty good but it shouldn't come as a spoiler to be told that you should take some tissues.

Yay! We saw it last night - the cinema was packed and I was between two weeping women at the end of the film! :D

I'm not going to get to see this till wed/thurs now thanks to work, but I have to say, the amount of people discussing how much they cried watching it has me a little worried.

Am I going to like it despite crying so much?

Absolutely! What's a Disney movie if your heart strings are not plucked like a banjo?

I finally got to see Toy Story 3 yesterday. I was skeptical about it as I didn't think they needed a 3rd one. I am glad I was wrong. It was AMAZING. It totally stood up as its own movie with the odd nods to the first 2 movies. Possibly my fave movie of the year. Even better than princess and the frog. Cant wait for the bluray to come out now lol

I was pretty grumpy to discover today that my local cinema only showed TS3 and Eclipse for the two weeks of school holidays and were booked out most of the time cos they are only tiny cinemas... Grrr... I was leaving it till the holidays were over so I didn't have to share such close quarters with screaming toddlers and squealing teens... Now I have to travel an hour( rather than 6 1/2 minutes) to see them at double the price

But I will, cos I want to see both on the big screen.

Went and saw this last night, and thoroughly enjoyed it. -/ These guys just keep getting better don't they? It was definitely moving, and the girls were weeping - but then cracking up at the lady in front down a couple of rows that had to get the tissues out for a mighty blow  .

Of course a lump was developing, I did admit it was moving, but I didn't leak one bit.

We must have had that conversation when you were on one of your sojourns. It went something like this....

Once upon a time there was a lad called ajp.
One day he watched a movie called Beaches and was (in hindsight) perhaps a little too quick to admit he wept watching it.
He has yet to live it down :)

The end.

Lisa.

PS: don't worry though ajp... truth be told, we probably ALL cried watching Beaches
