Ok, well, thought seeing as there was a link in the Disney News article about UP to the trailer, I'd kick off the discussions.... ( see Greg, we do read it )

This movies is looking really good. I saw posters at DL last year and from everything I'd seen it looked spiffy. But then Pixar are the best at what they do so its not likely to be a bad offering I imagine.
Loved the trailer... anyone else seen it?

I apreciated the premise behind the movie too... considering we're none of us getting any younger. And considering we're an aging society its probably a timely theme.


I wasn't all that enthused about seeing Bolt ( even if I did really like it when I did) but this, along with the Princess and the Frog (she might join Mulan as a worthy princess yet) is one that I'm really looking forward to seeing.

And hooly dooly... don't those balloons look spectacular....

Yep - I'm looking forward to this one too! Although we won't see it until September 3 I won't be able to see it that day as I'll be in New York watching The Little Mermaid on Broadway - maybe I should cancel my trip

The trailer is very funny - I love Dug the talking Dog - he is so funny

Went to the movies today ( saw 'The Proposal' - very funny... and might I say if Scarlett Johanson doesn't want Ryan Reynolds any more I'll be the first with my hand up ) anyhooo.... the preview was UP and even though I'd seen this trailer online it was nothing short of spectacular on the big screen... the detail is superlative. Can't wait to see this one. Its going to be a keeper for sure.

I went to the Australian Premiere of Up yesterday at Fox studios. Prior to the movie the 1st and 2nd place getters of So you think you can dance did a routine and then the movie was presented by the hosts of Saturday Disney. Everybody was given a cupcake and little bag of goodies with a program in it ( I gave some last night for lucky door prizes at the meeting)

In regards to the movie and the short beforehand.....

I guess I will just have to wait until September for you guys to see it!

I went to the Aussie Premiere for Lilo and Stitch many moons ago and it sounds like it was a pretty similar do to yesterday. Glad you had a good time.

Jared took a whopping 60mls from a bottle last week so I might even be able to see Up at the movies!

I'm off to see UP tomorrow -/ -/ -/ YYAAAAAAAAYYYY!

And if I don't get called in to work an extra shift tomorrow, I might even make it the matinee ( not sure I can wait for the night session )
