It sounds wonderful!  I have done WIWF twice, but it looks like I'll have to do it again!  The first time was way back when the Disney Gallery was still where the Dream Suite is now, so we got to go there and into the foyer of Club 33.  The second time I got to go into Walt's apartment over the Fire Station and managed to get a photo in there where I wasn't crying :D  Now I will have to do it again so I can visit the old Gallery that is now the Dream Suite!!!

As the day warmed up I quickly headed to Adventureland for my first Dole Whip – amazing, how have I not tried this before?
I think you're in the minority...everyone else here hates the stuff. :-)

Really?  I do like my pineapple and this was good.
I'm actually kidding. There are people here that would sell their first born for Dole Whip. :-)

That would be so amazing!
The Dream Suite was certainly still great.  It was modelled based on Walt's drawings and visions but largely by Imagineers based on Walt's life and loves.  Still a great history and I'd like to think he would have loved the little tricks in each room where you press buttons and cool displays start.

LOL. Dole Whip is our afternoon DL tradition. We sit and eat it in the hub near the partners statue.

I'm not as good as Keith at blogging frequently.  I have only just updated my Wordpress blog with Canada.  SanFran and our trip to the WDFM is up.  Hoping to do Universal Studios, Aulani and New Orleans next weekend.  FYI Aulani was really lovely and so relaxing.

And you get to relive it all again while you'e blogging...less the bad bits. :-)

Finally completed Keith!!

As an addition to the Blog (as the majority of my friends aren't as interested in Disney) - My sister and I have now officially started collecting pins, although I plan to keep my collection limited.  We received one for Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour, then I kept telling myself not to start collecting so I didn't purchase the Birthday pin.  At Aulani I saw the Year of the Rooster pin (reminiscent of my visit to DCA) so I gave in and will stick to only one per park and try to purchase something specific for that trip.  I also have an Aulani one.  My sister on the other hand has gone all in and has one of the sets already and is keen to keep collecting.

I'm going to have to work my way through these posts but I'm obviously starting with the Disneyland one.

Love the Mickey head leaves. Do you think this is training, something they just do themselves to keep from getting bored or a love of the job?

Great Paradise Pier night shots.

I wonder if you can tell Disney Fans from park visitors by the increased heart rate just entering under the railway line?

DCA seems to have so much more than when i was last there (which is a scary amount of time ago now :-( )

Haha, I started with the Disney ones on your website, it will keep me travelling through others while I save for my next trip.
Too be honest I think my heart increases when I start to see signs to Disney even before the shuttle arrives and then everything after that is just exciting.  Walking onto Main Street is always a big highlight though.  Need to do another character breakfast and book super early so I can get photos without all those random tourists in my way.
DCA has increased just in the 3 years since I was there.  I loved it more this time and was wishing we had at least another day.

If you want a really wordy trip report from Walt Disney World I start out with my excitement at seeing the road signs so I know exactly what you mean.
