Well we couldn't book the Shanghai opening trip due to some date clashes with work, so we decided to book a fortnight in WDW in September instead!

We are heading out on 3 September and returning on 19 September.  We are staying at the Art of Animation resort again but don't have anything else planned.  We'll check out the new Disney Springs, as well as the new offerings at Animal Kingdom including Rivers of Light.  Our friends in Orlando are going to take some time off too so they can travel with us and show us things around Orlando beyond the parks.

I'll put up a countdown clock later on!

Too bad about Shanghai but I guess the rest makes up for it, you lucky pumpkins.

All the cool kids are going in September  Will you guys do MNSSHP?  I think you've done it before?  I'm thinking of doing it on our first night at WDW so we can stock up on 'candy' as treats for the kids - who am I kidding, for ME! - for the rest of the trip.

Yes Keith, we're hoping we'll do the MNSSHP on our first night and then use the following morning to relax around the Wilderness Lodge and enjoy the resort a bit.  I've been to a MVMCP before but not the Halloween one.  The kids are looking forward to the 'candy'

Sandie and I will also be at WDW ( with a heap of other girls) in that time frame too...

Hey Mel, the MNSSHP dates have been released!

Here they are:

• September – 2, 8, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 29, 30
• October – 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31

Yay - my date is there.  Now, if only they'd start selling them!

I got all my ADRs sorted.  The short MK dinner times are killing me though.  I'll post my schedule on my thread.  (I do have one don't I?)

Well, this trip has snuck up on me and now it is only 5 sleeps away!  I didn't even get time to put in a countdown clock within my signature (I have one now!)

We fly out on Saturday afternoon.

How are your preparations going Lisa and Mel?  Your departure times must both be getting close now too.

I can't wait for next Thursday night - not only are we at the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, but NASA are also launching a major space mission that night, the Osiris-Rex mission to visit and return particles from an asteroid.  It is being launched from a Atlas-V rocket and will be visible from the MK.  Can't wait
