I can't believe you got blue-sky photos around Fort William either!! I've been there so many times and not once have I even seen Ben Nevis as it was always hidden in cloud. Great shots Beth!

And yes - Blackpool is everything tacky and bad you could ever imagine from a UK sea-side town. I visited it once just to have a look and it was worse than even my imagination could have made it! :D

Did Madame Tussaud's today and went with low expectations but it was excellent. Unbeknown to me it has a London Black Cab ride that uses the doom buggy technology.

There is also great Marvel 4D movie based in London with Disney tunes playing as you exit.

Off to France tomorrow and less than 2 weeks until PDLR! -/

Hey - you went to the "Paul" cafe in Lille. I went to Paul in Washington DC on my last day and just thought it was an Americanised version of a french cafe - I didn't realise they actually were a real French cafe - I learn something new every day :)

Lille looks like a nice city - the houses look French :)

It must be a chain as we passed a few in Lille but none so far in Amiens - they were very good.

I have to confess to not having done much research on DP so am trying to cram now. Halloween launches about 2 days before we arrive. Storybook canal, Casey June and small world will down - no great loss.

Don't forget to check out the dragon under the castle - it's one of those cool additions that didn't need to be built but just adds a little special something to Disneyland Paris.

Yay!!!!! Can't wait to read your updates from there. You'll have to tell us how the park is looking these days. I'm keen to head back there some time.

Have fun - and make sure you get on Space Mountain - it is crazy :D

Great photos Beth - it really is an amazing looking park (just a shame it is in Europe!). They did actually introduce smoking areas about six years ago, but they were never enforced and European culture is to smoke everywhere, so I think that'll always be a feature of Disneyland Paris.

I think Disneyland Paris is the best looking of all the Magic Kingdom parks - they really spared no expense when they built it. You'll have a great time exploring it :)

Wow - amazing photos from Paris Disneyland Beth. Looks like you had great weather and crowds!

Yes - the Disney service is a bit different over there isn't it! But the park is still great to look at and photograph.

Are you heading to the Studios park on Saturday? We found weekends were very busy over there as you get a lot of people from other parts of Europe popping in for the two days.

Thanks for your daily updates - they are the first thing I read every day at the moment!

The weekend crowds started to thin by this afternoon even though it was very cold and drizzly. Hopefully the next 2 days will be quieter so I can finish off the studios.

I love Crush!
