Live from Disneyland Paris 2013

Postby Gerard » Thu Sep 26, 2013 12:24 am

I'm sitting at the hub waiting for the parade. I will post a report on my return.
Have had a great time, but the issues with park maintenance have got a lot worse. Bugger is that a rain drop on my ipad.?! Got to go

Ok, back after a quick rain shower and getting a fast pass for BTM.
There is a lot of evident cost cutting here. There are no live shows except for parades. Rides close on weekdays, or close early. There is a 2 hour extra hours in the mornings with only 4 attractions open. There are elements of attractions Broken ( including the dueling pirates in POTC.

It's not all bad, the food is great, had wonderful lunch at Walt's today. The Castle show is incredible and the parade is good. Speaking of the Parade, it starts in 8 mins so I have to go.

Enjoy the parade Gerard. Meanwhile I am in Disneys Hollywood Studios park testing the Fastpass+ system. About to go on Tower of Terror using it. So far I have been impressed. Will give a bigger update later.

Shame about the Paris maintenance, it was problematic back in 2006 and I was hoping it would have improved.

Ugh, rain spots here now too. Gotta go!

I hate this forum - 2 members in the parks at the same time - well it's not raining here!

Oops!

One of them is non-Disney, although I intend scouting out the 2 Disney stores in Valencia!
