Day 17: Eloise Morthen comes back tomorrow! I have not seen her since the 16th June! Today Peter and John had to go back to Daytona for the race and Pat wanted a rest day. I didn't really want to go to a park by myself again so I went to Downtown Disney. I browsed for a while and then watched Jersey Boys which was great. When I came out of the cinema at two pm it was as dark as night. I just made it to the bus before the rain began. It rained and rained and my bus slid on all the water and we almost had an accident, luckily it survived! When I got back to the resort it was still pouring and the walkways were flooded, the deepest part was just over my knee. I didn't want to stay in the food court and get lunch until I made sure Pat was alright. I took off my shoes and waded back to the room. A couple of Mouse Keepers gave me dry towels as I sloshed by. Just as I got to the room I tripped so I have some lively bruises and a sore ankle. Pat was all good but they were just about to service my room so I stood outside dripping wet. When I could get back in I jumped straight into a hot shower. It rained until about 6 pm and stopped just in time for us to go to our dinner at T-Rex which is like Rainforest Cafe but dinosaurs. I prefer RFC. I hadn't eaten all day so I was starving and ate most of my pasta. Downtown Disney was exceptionally busy. It was actually busier than the parks have been. Pat had a silhouette done and we headed back to resort. I'm now washing everyone's wet clothes!

Ahhh - Florida rain. It brings back great memories of my trip last September when the walking paths at Pop Century also flooded! Still - a torrential day at WDW is still better than a good day at work :)

Day 18: the prodigal daughter returns..... Peter and I went to the airport and were waiting when Eli got off her 9 am flight she seemed happy to see us, maybe because she wanted to shop? We drove her back to the resort. Whilst we had been gone John had moved into our room so Eli set up with Nana. Once that was done we headed to Disney's Hollywood Studio. We had a busy day which included Tower of Terror, Rock n Roller Coaster, the Great Movie Ride, Indy, the animation class, the backstage tour, Star Tours and found ourselves at the Prime Time Cafe for dinner. The boys had fried chicken and us girls all had the chicken pot pie. It was delicious! After dinner Pat and Peter left and the kids and I used our Fantasmic fast passes. I love Fantasmic and since neither kid remembered it they loved it too! I left around 10 pm and they stayed until 1 am!

Day 18 sounds like fun (who am I kidding, every day on here sounds like fun).

I guess what I mean is it sounds exactly like what I would do on a whole day in Disney Hollywood Studios - they've gone and done all the fun stuff :)

But Lisa, you've been a much better Sandie than Sandie with your daily updates on her behalf! :)

Seriously though, thanks Sandie and Lisa for keeping us informed! I've enjoyed reading your exploits!

Now - what loot did you buy Sandie??

I'm sorry! I will finish the rest soon. I have amazingly good things to say about Magic Bands and Wayne has given me permission to discuss the new Harry Potter stuff on Saturday too
