It's hit the news here too and Channels 9's Today Show will be filming from their in 2 weeks

Wow. Just got back to hotel after the opening day of Cars Land. Glad we were able to ride it easily at the preview as it had massive queues today. We saw it at 4 hours this morning but I am not sure if it got even longer.

We managed to buy most of the limited edition day one merchandise which cost a small fortune!

The Mad T Party is totally brilliant and we spent a couple of hours there tonight dancing away! They released new Mickey fear hats today that have flashing coloured far pieces that sync to both World of Color and the Mad T Party, they totally rock!

Too much to tell you guys but I am going to sleep! Will update you on my return next Tuesday. But let me say this, I DON'T WANT TO COME HOME! LOL

You'll need to come home to earn more money to spend at Disneyland again and to show us your loot at the club meeting

Thanks everyone. Just got back to hotel after our last night in the parks. Still have half a day tomorrow in Disneyland. Did the loot photo earlier, it looked insane!

I can't believe your trip is over already

I'm really hoping to get to the meeting on Saturday night, but I'm already using one leave pass up on Friday night for the Swans game.

We're home

The trip was fantastic - we had a wonderful time over there and it is the first time ever we were more reluctant to be leaving DCA behind than Disneyland! DCA really is THAT good now! New entertainment, a new look, new attractions - I can't wait to go back.

I'll finish posting the journal entries tomorrow when I get them off Della's laptop, but if you are lucky (and I haven't fallen asleep at my computer) - I might post some more photos today of Radiator Springs

Welcome back and glad you had a good time. Obviously most of it was still behind walls when we were there, but we could get a sense of how good the new additions were going to be, and they sound like they're going to cost me before I planned them too! Can't wait to see more photos.

The DCA upgrade altogether, and Carsland in particular is the one upgrade I've been really looking forward to. I've seen Cars the movie more times than I can count (the cost of having three small boys I guess) so I can't wait to see Radiator Springs come to life.

If you miss DCA more than Disneyland.... well, that gives us an indication of just HOW good DCA now is

One thing this report is missing though - a stop at Ghirardelli!!!

And Mel - we made it to Ghirardelli! It is totally amazing. We've got the menu, so I'll bring it on Saturday - that should be some incentive to get that extra leave pass for the evening
