Good morning. About to go to the Enchanted Garden for character breakfast. Yesterday in the park was great and they had to chuck us out after the fireworks. They have this great Christmas lights illumination ceremony that takes place down the length of Main Street, from the Christmas tree to the Castle, after which, the snow comes for the rest of the evening, it was really magical (Beth would cry!) The park closes tonight at 9:30 after the fireworks but there is a countdown party in the hotel lobby from 10pm, so we are going there. Enjoy your New Year everyone!

We are sitting in a snow storm on Main Street waiting for the fireworks at 9pm. It has been another wonderful day full of magic. We even ran into an old friend that Della and I used to work with, so we hung out with her and her family for some time! It was wonderful to catch up - Hi Trina if you read this!!! Will be heading to the New Years Eve party right after the fireworks. It'll be hard to do NYE at home again from now on! Have a fun night everyone!

Happy New Year everyone. For some reason, I awoke with a stonking headache, must have been something I ate. Anyway, after leaving the park the fireworks, we got back to our room to find party hats, masks and party horns, along with an invite to the Disneyland Hotel NYE party! We went down to the lobby and it had been decked out for the party and Princess Aurora was there in her parade dress (with some bloke in tights, stupid prince, I hate them...) We also had Mickey and Minnie there in their formal wear. We also had the brass section of the Disneyland Band, a champagne bar, dance floor, DJ and fancy lighting. We did a big countdown at midnight followed by all the guests and lots of cast dancing together, it was great fun! Heading to the City for some shopping this morning then park this afternoon. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Hi everyone. Keith and Della reporting live from The Hub at HKDL as we await the fireworks. We spent this morning and most of the afternoon in the City, shopping of course! We hit the Sogo department store in Causeway Bay and pretty much never left that store...it was eleven stories tall and we picked up some good Disney loot which we'll show at the meeting. We had a great Disney moment this morning too, but you'll have to wait until I type my report as this phone is a pain to use! One more day in the park, then we head home on Tuesday.

Our last evening is upon us and we've had a wonderful time up here. We've met some great people including a retired American couple who spend all their time travelling to Disney Parfks and are just as pationate about it as we all are. We also met a lady from Perth and her daughter who we kept catching up with (Hi Amanda and April, hope you find this website!). Della and I are currently sitting in Main Street waiting for the Toy-riffic Street Party. The weather here has been great, sunny and t-shirt for me, jacket required at night. Anyway, we'll be home tomorrow evening, so I'll post some pictures by the weekend.

We are home safe! And reality is crashing in on us as our life returns to the mundane such as putting out the garbage bin, withdrawing cash for my weekly train ticket to work, and wondering what TV shows to watch this week.
But - before I get too depressed - I'm in the process of getting the photos off my camera to share with you guys!
Della and I also kept a journal on her PC during the trip, so I'll upload each day's journal along with the photos. Our idea was to do that on a daily basis while we were over there, but we never got the time - it was all go go go!
I probably won't get it done to the weekend though, as I'm back to work tomorrow, so have patience (I might upload a couple of photos though in the meantime
)
