Well - I thought I might as well start a new thread for this. Just one more sleep before we depart.

I checked in to the flight today, I've packed my bag and I've packed Buzzard as well!

We are taking the little netbook with us, so hopefully we can keep you updated through the wifi, otherwise it'll be via my mobile phone. Either way, I'll post stuff right here.

Will log on again tomorrow from Sydney Airport!

HK - here we come :D

Keith & Della,

Hope you have a fantastic time in Hong Kong Disneyland bringing in the New Year.

Looking forward to catching up with both of you at the next meeting to hear all about it.

Remember to take lots of photos.

From my understanding, HKDL is not having a NYE countdown this year and are scheduled to close at 9pm. If that's the case, we'll go and watch the main HK fireworks!

Have a good New Year everyone!

Beth and Gerard - it won't be the same not bumping into you two everywhere we go, but you'll be with us in spirit!

Hi Guys! Reporting live from the Qantas Club at Sydney Airport. Our trip is off to a great start with a check-in upgrade to Premium Economy! That Disney magic is already working for us :) I'll report in again when we arrive in Hong Kong tonight!

Yay!!! We are here safe and sound after a wonderful flight! We have checked into the hotel and we are back up on the sixth floor! We got some special gifts and our room has been decorated with awesome Christmas towel folds. Can't wait to show you pictures! Hitting the hotel shop soon and the park tomorrow morning! Wish you were all here like back in April. Love Keith and Della!

Hooray!

The next best thing to being there is having someone there who posts frequent reports!

Which hotel are you in?

We are in the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel again. They have amazing Christmas decorations in the lobby including a giant gingerbread and chocolate castle. We went shopping last night and there was lots of new merchandise, we'll bring it all home so you can see it! Off to breakfast soon before we hit the park.

ALL of it?

Score! on the premium economy upgrade... would be interested in hearing your opinion compared with the usual kind of economy.

Sounds like you've hit the ground running.

Do you think they will let you bring home some of the castle?

Just a quick live update from the park. We are standing in Main Street about to watch the parade. Visited Toy Story Playland this morning and the RC Racer ride was brilliant fun. Big crowd here today but not too uncomfortable. Christmas decorations are great and the tree in Main Street is huge. Will check back in again soon.
