Not only did we see it Keith, I was directly underneath and got quite a good shot of it :)

Sorry the updates are a bit light on so far.... Sandie (the trip Dominatrix) has us on a tight schedule
... 12 hours in the park today... I have a 'day off' in a few days and will catch right up then.

My first thought when I looked at that was to realise just how hemmed in the park is by urban sprawl. They do a great job of separating you from it when you are in there.

It is amazing isn't it? You never feel the press of all that housing and industry once you are in the parks.

I'm far too tired to be posting...the girls are wearing me out! Just wanted to report I staked out the Frankenweenie premiere at the El Capi tonight and got within ten meters of Tim Burton!

Does anyone want to research why they spell theatre our. Way on their sign?

Awesome! You are our resident stalker!

I've noticed this a number of times in the US - it seems quite common at theatres and on US movie trailers - I've never worked out a pattern to it. For instance, http://www.newyorkcitytheatre.com/index.php spells theatre both ways in the opening sentence on their website!

yep, only a few days left... :(

We're almost dead on our feet though...

a conversation between Sandie and I today:

(Lisa and Sandie sitting quietly on the bus waiting for departure on another tour)

Sandie: (whispers) have you been writing your blog?

Lisa : nup... have been lucky to jot down the highlights on a notebook.

Sandie: me too... they'll have to wait for a big catch up when we get home.

Lisa: yup... ( too exhausted for a huge conversation even)

I promise I'll do a full catch up on the blog including photos when I get home... its been such a HUGE tour, and the days have been phenomenally packed. :D

Brilliant!! That's the sort of holiday I like - plenty of action and exhaustion. You'll be happy to get back to work so you can have some rest :D

Yep, we're both back, although, it sounds like I might have had the smoother travels of the two of us.

My flight came in early and Sandie's had a lengthy delay before departure ( hours) and then a diversion via Brisbane... ( I think - correct me if I'm wrong Sandie )

I've unpacked even - mostly due to a daughter who cut uni classes today to 'welcome mum home'... and gather loot I suspect as well :)

I'll definitely crash tonight though.

Hoping to make some headway on the blog tomorrow though...
