Indeed! Have a wonderful trip everybody! My friend at work leaves today as well - I spent a couple of hours coaching her on what to see and do when she goes there - I forgot to warn her to keep an eye out for the Aussie Girls on Tour!

More fun if she finds out herself Keith

I saw Lisa's FB entry today and sounds like she had an uncomfortable flight. I think she must have had a dodgy vindaloo in Brisbane AP before boarding the plane.

Good flight Sandie and we look forward to the colourful updates. We need pictures of the Nuns, Walmart visit and of course, the stripper school (pre not post! )

Hello guys...

I'm there... but as ajp rightly noted, I have been and am still under the weather. I can now add gastro on long haul to my list of 'never do again'.

I've managed ( with the help of the guy at the front desk) to get my little asus into gear and now can post on the blog as well.

heres a link if you'd like to follow along.

Its been a rough start, but hoping for an improvement before too long. I have ventured across to DTD a couple of times, but am still pretty weak so my tours I'd organised for today and tomorrow will likely go by the wayside as I recover.

As I write this though, I'm munching on macadamias covered in carmel and a chocolate mickey head from Marcelines so lifes not ALL bad ;)

will check in again soon ..

Lisa.

I cannot imagine what that trip must have been like - and to be stuck on the window seat away from the aisle...I feel for you!

Still, that is over and you have your whole trip ahead to enjoy!!

Thanks for the blog posts and updates here Lisa - keep them coming - and have a great time over there. Did you ever get your vanity case below 6kgs? I laughed so hard at that, since I only carry a tube of toothpaste, tooth brush, and razor :D

LOL... yes, my vanity case has been the point of much discussion amongst the group of travelers... I was very proud of myself though, because it snuck closer up to 7kgs before I got serious and culled it down to a svelt 5kgs... but my suitcase weighed in at only 17 kgs at the airport so we all know what is most important to me when I travel. ;) blame the hair products. :)

Wow - that's a fantastic score - 3kgs less than Della! So you should be able to bring heaps back - I assume you'll be buying a second suitcase before you fly home :)

Naturally

I was actually thinking of Della when I was walking through the fluffy section of World of Disney... I think now, its become the 'Della section' in my head... she really is the queen of shopping.

The selection of books and music isn't as good as I remember it though...

Sounds like a scorching hot day in LA today Lisa. I can understand why there were so many distressed kids around. I was watching the Indycar race in LA and it was still 38 celcius when the sun went down - can't imagine what it was around 3pm.

Have a great time in Vegas!

The girls in Vegas are very quiet - I'm imagining something along the lines of The Hangover... :)

Now this is cool - I hope the girls get to see this. The Space Shuttle Endeavour is doing a flyover of Disneyland on Friday as part of its final flight. It should be overhead sometime after 10:30am.

Wish I was there to see it :D

There are some great photos around the Internet today of the Space Shuttle Endeavour over Disneyland - I hope the girls got to see it as it is a once in a lifetime event.
