Fantastic - welcome home Sandie and Lisa!

Can't wait to read your updates, let me see, I think we had about two days of reports for the entire time you were all away, so you have a lot of catching up for us!

Thanks for the final Vegas blog update Lisa. Interesting that you all caught the bus to Anaheim rather than fly - was that a cost thing, or just to get the experience of crossing the desert?

I've started updating mine too.

The bus was a time thing. It was five hours door to door. Think of flying leave hotel ninety minutes before flight, hour flight, get baggage, shuttle to hotel etc. it was easier to get one bus. Plus we got to visit Barstow which I knew from my Railroad Tycoon days!

Ok Lisa and Sandie get on with it - I need the next instalment!

Lisa did you really stay 2 nights in Anaheim and not step into a park?

been working on it in and around work... I was back at work a day and a half after landing back in Brisbane. Feeling pretty tired. I'm working a 7 straight day stretch ( I had hoped to ease back into work, but no such luck) . I am doing a little every night but friends keep inviting us over for dinner so they can hear all the stories... tonight Millie just rolled her eyes when I came out with one of my favourite retellings today and muttered something about having heard the same one about 5 times now... lol...

I'm aiming at 2 updated tomorrow after work - its a shorter day :) hope that helps your anguish Beth.

Oh, and yep, I did stay 2 days at Anaheim without going into the park and despite being still very sick, I would have, if I could have. I couldn't start my 14 day ticket until the rest of the travelers arrived or I would have run short at the other end, so I made do with spending as much time as I could handle at DTD . I had booked a couple of tours for the first couple of days but cancelled them when I arrived very under the weather.

Lisa - I loved your shopping day blog update, I was laughing all the way as I know what it is like when Della puts her shopping eyes in :D

Did you do loot photos during your trip?

Thanks Keith :)

yep, shopping eyes were definitely in that day, so imagine a mini bus full of us :)

Sadly, it was only when I got home that I realised that I hadn't taken any loot photos, and now, quite a lot of it has been redistributed as gifts but I can take some shots with my now BROKEN NEW camera and post them on the trip wrap post.

I will have to put that onto my 'must remember next time' list.

Thanks for the Mexican blog update Lisa!

Can't help much with the glass heads, other than this link to a Flickr image that suggests it is an art program:
