Our cruise wasn't a sell out by any stretch. I don't know exactly (or can't remember more like it), but there was enough people to think it was somewhere over half but not quite 2/3. We were upgraded from Deck 6 to Deck 8, so you may be fortunate to get the same treatment. Make sure you check with the TA when the paperwork will be sent out and if you're over there, arrange to get it sent to where you're staying. Also keep an eye on your email, because that's how we were notified of our upgrade.

Now a question to ponder:

Do we see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (part 1) here when it opens or do we see it at Universal?

Here when it opens, and if you have time, also at Universal. If you see it here, at least you don't have to feel you have to make time for it there.

I guess it depends on if you can wait or not... I had a similar dilemma when Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull came out in May 2008. It was showing several weeks before I left home but I held off cos I wanted to see it at DTD and I am so pleased I did. The atmosphere seeing a new Disney movie for the first time AT Disney was amazing. Well worth it.

Wall-E had only been out a week when we went OS, so we saw it on the Disney Cruise - it just added to the whole experience. It will be good down time for you in all the hustle and bustle of travel.

You know what is the worst part of being a planner???? Waiting because everything is done!

I even made Peter ring T-Rex at DtD the other morning so that we could get a PS for Christmas Eve after Cirque!

Loved Animal Kingdom. 3 months, time has flown by hasn't it? Shame I forgot about last night when I accepted a dinner invite to mums, because I would have loved to catch up and discuss your trip and your cruise.

Seeing Keith's news about his father 70th present (that's an awesome gift), reminded me that I bought my parents tickets to the Magic Kingdom Mickey's Very Merry Xmas Party for their birthdays. They wouldn't spend the extra money on tickets, and when I mentioned they don't have to use one of their entry days from their 8 day pass (no hopper option), they liked the idea.

The Morthens go Cruising

Postby sandie » Sun Nov 07, 2010 9:14 am

The date I could book exursions was last Sunday. Got everything I wanted although I am hearing the ship is near fully booked now.

Got:

Tulum Ruins Excursion on Cozumel
Palo on the Tuesday night
Couples massage on the Thursday afternoon.

On Grand Cayman and at Key West we are just going to do our own thing!

Woo Hoo... exciting stuff -/

Are you going to be keeping us up to date with an 'ajp-like' blog for us poor buggers at home to be extremely jealous of ? :D

Getting pretty close now :)

I love it when a booking date opens. It makes the trip that much closer and real!
