We'll have a lot of fun and special events that can only come from an official DUD club trip. We'll keep posting updates as plans firm up, so make sure you keep and eye on the website and guide.

Club trip update!

Okay everyone, the plans are coming together nicely and as we get closer to the trip, we will continue to unveil information about some of the special events that will occur.

Today's announcement: as you know, the Managing Director of Hong Kong Disneyland, Mr Andrew Kam, will be joining us for an opening cocktail on the first night of the trip. What we can now reveal is that this cocktail event will take place at Main Street Station, which will be closed to the general public. We'll have our drink with Mr Kam and we'll then be able to watch the Hong Kong Disneyland fireworks from our exclusive vantage point!

I've once again updated the Guide and have also posted a separate Room Reservation Form on our Home Page.

You will need to complete one reservation form for each room you wish to book.

Our travel agent club member Daniel Beard, has kindly offered to coordinate the accommodation booking for us all. Everyone wishing to join us on the trip will need to download the form, complete the details, and fax it to Daniel. Once he has the minimum eight rooms to ensure the amazing accommodation discount, he'll send the forms on to the Hong Kong Disneyland reservations team. We've already received two forms before we even advertised it(!) - so we just need six more to ensure the deal. We are hoping to have as many as we can sent to Daniel by 10 August. We are also looking to confirm numbers of people (not rooms) by 30 August to aid in planning the special events with Hong Kong Disneyland (for function room bookings etc).

Note that once the reservation forms are sent to Hong Kong Disneyland reservations team, that one nights accommodation will be charged to your credit card as a deposit. Note that Daniel will only forward the forms to Disney once eight have been received to ensure that the discount will apply.

As we said, this will be a once in a lifetime experience to see the inner workings of a Disney theme park. It is an event not to be missed by any Disney fans!

Hi Beth - the fax number is in the guide on the homepage but I'll send a PM as well. I'd rather not publish phone numbers in the forum due to automatic harvesting by undesirables...I'm trying to save Daniel (and his sanity) from fax-spam

Hi everyone - I just had to post an updated version of the Hong Kong Disneyland reservation form. Apparently we were meant to be using the official HKDL form, but we uploaded a slightly revised version with Daniel's contact details on it.

I've put the official one on the homepage now - so please ensure you use that, but remember to fax it to Daniel so that we know when we have the eight rooms ready to go. Just out of idle curiosity...

Any guys on their own who would want to share a room to cut down costs...

Any two who would be willing to share a triple (if it's possible) to cut down costs, don't mind sharing with a couple of girls, I don't snore and would be spending very little time in the room anyway...
