I'll be glad come the evening on December 14th when I'm finally sitting somewhere in Orlando with a sherb in hand and the holiday started.
And that is what it is all about - the stress, the phone calls, the planning, the flights - all of it will seem worthwhile when you are lying back in Florida, watching the sun set!

Yes they are Mel. My eldest is counting down every day on her facebook page, I reckon her friends would be pretty much over it already  .

For anyone who may be slightly interested I have made a blog and photo site that I'll be updating on a reasonably regular basis (we're not staying in too many places with free wifi, so not sure how often this will be). The site is already up and running so you're all welcome to go and check it out and see what it ill be. Link is below.

Everything but our nights accommodation after the cruise is booked now, so we're pretty well all set. Now we're just counting down the days. -/

I'm excited about this trip too - and I'm not even going!

Love the blog site Anthony - I've added it to my favourites. I can't wait for you to begin posting entries, but I know how hard it is to commit to regular updates - I always think I'll be doing it, but it never quite works that way!

Tough crowd. I'm not feeling any pressure or anything  .

I'll take my disclaimer from Keith
but I know how hard it is to commit to regular updates - I always think I'll be doing it, but it never quite works that way!

No just kidding, but given that internet access is not free in the main, updates will appear periodically, but I plan for them to be comprehensive. If any of you have an RSS reader, you can actually subscribe to the blog and when an update is made, it will appear in the reader.

A couple of tips for WDW, when you stay at a Disney resort your room keycard doubles as a credit card within the Disney property, even the Ice Cream mobile carts are connected by wireless, this will apply to your wife and daughters keycard, you just need to secure with a credit card. I would suggest checking the balance and topping up after the first week to save being rejected. If you lose the card or just forget it, visit the ticket sales area at any of the parks and they will issue a new one, probably need some sort of identification.

I would suggest the TIW card if you are doing more than 4 ADR's costs $70.00 from Guest services in any of the parks, gives you a 20% discount on groups of up to 10, does not apply on Christmas Eve or day, and New Year etc.

Thanks Colin, I'll take a good look at the TIW card for sure when we get there. Although not sure about giving the daughters a charge card if even the ice cream carts are hooked up. Maybe I can limit their card to $5 a day

As scary as it sounds the boys having the ability to buy things with their room card was very convenient. It meant we didn't have to worry about finding autobanks and carrying around a George Costanza wallet with all the $1 bills  After a few days I did a tally with them, as I let them use it for all their purchases and it was a bit of a shock to them how quickly they were going through their money. They managed it better after that.

Disney may be able to to set the daily limit, something you will need to find out at checkin.

Not trying to show off, just doing my part of advertising the good value and benefits of owning DVC.

Less than a week to go Anthony! Are all the plans set? Passports ready? Suitcases out of the cupboards? Currency bought? Come on - we are meant to be living vicariously through your preparations!

By the way, have you actually finished work now and did you get a big farewell (and can you remember it!?)
