Since there is a few of us going I started this new topic.
Anyone interested in a club Fantasmic Desert Party meet? I'm not sure how far ahead you can book for the Fantasmic reserved seating

Della and I will be up for it - we've never done it before but have heard good things.

Wayne and Jennifer will probably be interested too - I'll let you know as soon as they return from Anaheim.

They are in Disneyland right now - actually, today is the day they go and visit Imagineering in Glendale as part of the Backstage Magic tour with Adventures by Disney! You know Gerard how much Wayne wanted to go through those gates 3 years ago - well today is the day he actually makes it!

we must book the Fantasmic Seating exacly one month in advance (it books out in minutes). so we must pick a date before August.
any sugestions?
I will be there from the 9th to the 20th September (I can't do the 20th as I fly out that night)

once we pick a night I will book it on my card (in the early hours)and you can fix me up latter

That's great Gerard - I'll check with Wayne and Jennifer next week when they return to see if they want to do it. Looking at my calendar - Monday the 14th looks to be the best for us - we want to keep the D23 evening free at this stage in case there are some late night events...

Excellent! We are really looking forward to it :)

I know! I can't wait to hear their story. I'm sure they have been in one before - it might have been in Japan (as well as a typhoon once when they were there!)

Hi Gerard - Wayne and Jennifer are in for the Fantasmic package too!

And yes Beth, they did get the earthquake while in LA and came through it okay! It was their second one - they were in Osaka Japan for their first earthquake!

Make sure you all come to the June meeting to hear about Wayne and Jennifer's trip - they did the Backstage Magic tour by Adventures by Disney which included a visit to the Walt Disney Studios, Walt Disney Imagineering, Jim Henson studios, and lots of other great Disney backstage events!

She is not like us....yet.

I remember when I was like that - my first meeting in 2000 - when I thought everyone in the club was a bit crazy (I was right, and I'm happy to be a part of that craziness now!)

I keep coming back to the bloke in the front row with Nemo on his head! Let's face it, we are a bit odd - and I don't care :D

The D23 Expo Site is now up and they are selling tickets.
got mine but I am able to purchase another 3 on the members rate if anyone needs some.
a speakers program is also on the site, I'm interested in Iger's and Lasseter's keynotes

Two months to go.

I've got my baseball tickets for the New York leg of our holiday, and I think we'll be ordering our Park Hopper tickets in the next week or two.

It is all go go go :)
