It is very good. It's a little in line with the new licencing initiative that I was reading about on Jim Hill Media the other day. The licencing department of Disney are approaching designers around the world for there own take on the iconic Mickey Mouse picture with some interesting results. Check Jim Hill out for more info.

Haha - very funny :D

I don't really know if I want anything from the auction - I imagine that these items will be picked up by people with much bigger bank balances than me!

I wouldn't mind the Briar Rose framed cel, or the invitation to The Princess and the Frog world premier (although that would mean returning to the US in November!).

What would you like Anthony - Miley Cyrus's dress??

I don't know, I reckon my bum might look big in Miley's dress. :P

The tour of the studios would be a major draw card for me if I was there or one of the Theme Park experiences, assuming they are "money can't buy" type of experiences. But there is alot of things that will go quite pricey, and not that much appealled.

Some other interesting news about the D23 Expo. It seems lots of fan sites had been sending D23 emails about the possibility of Star Tours 2 coming to Disneyland - so the D23 website issued this statement today:

"In response to inquiries from Star Wars fan sites about Storm Troopers at the D23 Expo, D23 issues the following statement: "We were contacted by the Galactic Empire and have been advised that Imperial dignitaries will be attending Disney's D23 Expo," said Steven Clark, head of D23. "As a result, a legion of Storm Troopers from the 501st Battalion will be patrolling the Anaheim Convention Center on Saturday, September 12."

So it looks like there could be a Star Tours 2 announcement on the Saturday - looks like I'll have to try and get into the Disney Parks and Resorts presentation! I wonder if George Lucas will be there?

Photos, videos, signatures, navel lint, anything from the great man himself Keith!

The build up to the expo has been very well done I think. The slow leakage of information is really building up the anticipation very well.

I was thinking exactly the same thing - this has set the standard for this sort of thing. I wonder what the 2010 Expo will be like?
