I don't know what happend, I shot it with my point and shoot camera set on video so the quality would not be good anyway.

Wow... can't believe this is the day that the troops leave the parks. I've just re-read the whole 'trip planning underway' thread again and can't believe all that planning, waiting and then holidaying is now over. Let the Scrapping begin hey Sandie?

It really had everything.... translators, blogs that mysteriously turn Japanese, anticipation in heaping helpings, lost counters, secrecy worthy of a Bond movie and then the rest of us hanging off every word and photo from the parks as it happened. I think everyone visiting here has enjoyed the last couple of weeks ... well, not as much as you guys but certainly more than a regular week of work thats for sure.

Have a safe trip home and can't wait to read the long version if you intend posting your trip diary.

Lisa. :D

You know - these Tokyo planning threads have been running almost twelve months and Lisa has managed to sum them up perfectly.

Thanks for letting us share in the whole planning and holiday adventure - we've really enjoyed it all! Can't wait for you to get back and give us a run down. Looking forward to seeing you Sandie & Eloise on Saturday night!

It's amazing how quick the trip has gone from our end. I can't imagine how quick it would have been on the ground!

Wayne and Jennifer are heading over to DL in May. They are doing the Adventures by Disney, Backstage Stage Disney tour.

But of the regulars on the forum here, yep - Della, Gerard and I are heading to DL in September for the Expo (along with Wayne and Jennifer again!)

What a great read this thread (and accompanying pics) has been!

I've been thinking of you guys a lot over the past few days as I was stuck in hospital with bub.

I hope the baby is ok Mel.

We are in the Qantas lounge which we got for free with our tickets! Eloise is feasting on soup and a bread roll and coke - for free. basically any food or drinks you want is free plus internet, massage chairs etc.

Pooh was closed all day today - that and the Gondolas were the only things we didn't do.

Our next trip is only 21 months away - time to get planning!

Sandie

p.s. I have to go home now and write the true/false trivia for Saturday night

In the five hours we had in the park today (DL) we did:

Astro-orbitors
The car ride - the name escapes me
Ate cheese burgers for breakfast
Splash
Ate a churro (maple syrup flavoured)
The train
Haunted Mansion
Big Thunder
Pirates
Ate hot dogs

Not too shabby!

Hilarious - you are counting down already?

I hope you have your trip report completed and ready for uploading tomorrow :)

EDIT: Actually - you don't have to worry. I'm now reading Eloise's posts and they are terrific!
